All PCs will eventually go wrong - it's not something you want to hear when it does, but due to their nature computers will nearly always develop a hardware or software fault - although these days the latter is by far the most common, with viruses, trojans and spyware representing a large proportion of the faults we see.

As well as looking at fixing the problem, we will also give you advice on future prevention, and where agreed we are happy to carry out such work. We don't believe in gimmicks - we don't have set price tables for set jobs, because in this industry to do a job properly you cannot make a judgement until you've seen what you are working with! You can be sure that we'll always give you a fair and competitive quotation, and all work is done by our engineer with over 15 years experience!


What if my fault cannot be repaired?
Well it's unfortunate but sometimes it just isn't viable to fix a PC - take a car for example, there comes a point when it's value drops, parts become scarce and expensive, and when it fails that MOT it's cheaper to scrap than it is to persevere. Computers are pretty much the same, after a few years parts go out of production, and with some hardware, especially laptops, the costs of sending them to specialist repair centers are prohibitive. We always try to be honest with customers, and where a fault isn't economical we'll let you know..

However, in such cases we are happy to assist in recovering the data from your existing machine, and should you choose us to supply your new unit, we'll migrate it across for you!

Third Party Services
Occasionally there will be repairs which we cannot assist with directly, but have to refer to third party companies. The most common example of this would be something like data recovery of an electrically damaged hard disk - for which there are maybe five or ten specialist centres in Europe than can recover the data safely. We have links to such firms, and will happily liase with them to ensure hardware is removed with the caution necessary and delivered to them with the utmost of care.
