Repairs - For when it all goes wrong!

Louth Computer Shop has been in business for over 24 years and during this time we have dealt with just about every kind of repair imaginable ranging from power surges, computer viruses and physical hard disk failures to laptops which have fallen victim to an intrigued toddler or household pet! You name it, we can probably fix it, and with a wide array of diagnostic software and hardware at our disposal, as well as spare parts for the vast majority of systems, we will be able to get most systems up and running quickly.

Domestic Customers (Hardware/Software) - Let us take a look at our shop in the town
For non-commercial work the quickest and most cost effective method for us to work on your system is for you to bring it in to us to look at - We are based on Northgate in Louth, which is easily accessible and has ample parking nearby. Typically we will only require your base unit (i.e. the box type part of your PC), and we can connect it up to our keyboards, mice and monitors to diagnose what the fault may be. At the end of the diagnostic work, we will give you a full breakdown of the fault along with a 'fixed-price' for the repair. Working at our premises means we have all the parts that may be required to hand, and we can guarantee connections to the Internet which is often necessary to address software issues.

Domestic Customers (Internet/Networking) - We'll visit you at home!
If you have a problem with your Internet we would always advise customers to try ringing their ISP initially to establish whether the cause of the fault originates from a line fault or indeed a password/authentication problem - Your ISP should be able to diagnose both of these remotely at no charge to yourself. If they indicate the issue is local and hardware or software related then it typically makes more sense for us to visit you at home to work out the problem. Our engineers will happily run through what you will be required to have onsite prior to your visit (username, password etc), and will meet you promptly at the time agreed upon.

Business Customers - Onsite or Offsite, the choice is yours.
We appreciate for business customers moving systems out of the office may not always be practical - You may have confidential data stored on the computer which you do not wish to leave your premises, or you may simply not have time to run the system to us and collect it again later. Either way, if you have a fault with a system at your place of work we'll happily visit you onsite or look at the problem at our office to suit what best fits in with your needs.

NB: Minimum charges apply to onsite services.
Whilst we make every attempt to conduct a repair onsite there may be instances where this is not possible.
